Janus Nanoparticles – special issue

Janus nanoparticles (JNPs) are a type of nanoparticles with two or more distinct physical or chemical properties on different regions of their surface. This unique asymmetry gives them unique properties and potential applications, especially in drug delivery, catalysis, and sensing. The term “Janus” refers to the two-faced Roman god, symbolizing the two distinct sides of these particles.

The dual functionality is core property that makes them unique and exciting new materials for study. Different Janus type metal nanoparticles and others are being explored in different fields. This special issue is meant to cover the latest development in the design of Janus nanoparticles and their properties and applications evaluations in different fields.

The research fraternity working in the development of janus nanoparticles type materials are invited to submit their article for consideration in the issue.
